Use of this Website
If you are planning an event and have not discussed and obtained permission to hold this event with a member of the MACC Fund staff, you must do so before registering to fundraise as a Team MACC Fund Member.
If you have failed to obtain permission from a MACC Fund staff member to hold your event, you may not use the MACC Fund name, logos, icons, or any derivations thereof to promote your event.
Further, if you have not obtained permission from a MACC Fund staff member, you may be held personally responsible for any type of liability that may result from your event and/or your use the MACC Fund name, logo, icon or any other derivations thereof.
We ask you to do this in accordance with Wisconsin laws pertaining to fundraising on behalf of non-profit organizations.
Also, there are some events that the MACC Fund cannot benefit from for legal reasons including, but not limited to, insurance and liability issues. If you undertake such an event without first discussing and obtaining permission from a MACC Fund staff member, the MACC Fund cannot be held responsible for any costs, damages, injuries (of whatever nature) which may result as a consequence of your failure to obtain expression permission and/or as a result of your holding an event from which the MACC Fund cannot receive the benefit of any monies raised; and/or from any misrepresentations which may result from your use of the MACC Fund name, logos, icons, graphics or derivatives thereof without express permission from a member of the MACC Fund staff.
You are prohibited from using on this Website, from transmitting to or through this Website, or linking to or from this Website (i) any unlawful, threatening, obscene, defamatory, libelous, harassing, pornographic, hateful or ethnically, racially or otherwise objectionable or harmful material, (ii) any material that would contribute to a civil or criminal offense, otherwise violates any law, or which infringes on any intellectual property right, (iii) any content referencing, facilitating, promoting or using the following: gambling, gaming, lottery, raffles, drawings, or prize promotions of any kind, including one of chance or skill that awards or provides a prize of value to a winner; or (iv) content that is used in a manner that is contrary to the MACC Fund’s public image, goodwill, reputation or mission, or in a manner that is otherwise inappropriate, derogatory or offensive (collectively, "Objectionable Material"), in each case, as determined by the MACC Fund in its sole and absolute discretion.
